Right above One Pelham East, the Top Of Pelham is proud to be the only venue in Newport, Rhode Island hosting a live Dueling Pianos Show! Directly across from Bowen’s Wharf on historic Thames Street, The Top provides the best in live entertainment, nationally known entertainers and a view of the world-famous Newport Harbor that speaks for itself.

Every weekend, our stage becomes occupied by two grand pianos where two entertainers perform audience requests from every genre and era imaginable. Every show, audience members get pulled up on stage for toasts and special dedication songs, making the evening even more unforgettable!

The live music concept is perfect for your night out in town, bachelorette celebrations, birthday parties, and even corporate outings. No matter the occasion... a good time is a guarantee!

What are Dueling Pianos?

Dueling Pianos started in the 1890s as skilled ragtime piano players would “duel” to see who could play better and faster. Our Dueling Pianos tradition carries on the same high energy and one-upmanship as performers constantly outdo one another with audience requested music from Rock & Roll to Top 40 Covers.
