Golden Voices, Gilded Halls: Opera Comes Home to The Breakers

On July 18th at 8:00 PM, two of the most sought-after voices in classical music today, tenor Lawrence Brownlee and soprano Erin Morley, will take the stage for an evening billed simply as Opera Night: Golden Age.

Accompanied by pianist Malcolm Martineau, the pair will move through a program stacked with bel canto showstoppers, arias from Rossini, Verdi, Bizet, Bellini, Delibes, and Donizetti that built the reputations of opera's greatest voices. Expect a Rigoletto highlight, selections from Bizet's Les Pêcheurs de Perles and La Jolie Fille de Perth, and Delibes' Lakmé, a program designed less like a survey and more like a victory lap for two artists at the height of their careers.
