Music on the Lawn Returns to Newport This July

There’s nothing quite like summer in Newport—and this year, the Music on the Lawn concert series is back to bring the community together with four unforgettable evenings of live music, local spirit, and laid-back lawn vibes.

Held at the historic Saint John’s Church on Washington & Willow Streets, these Tuesday night gatherings are a beloved tradition, offering the perfect way to unwind and enjoy some of the region’s most dynamic musical acts under the open sky.

The 2025 Lineup:

July 15th – Midnight Honey
Back by popular demand, this all-woman rock band brings bold energy and a dance-ready sound. If you love rocking out under the stars, this is your night.

July 22nd – Duke Robillard and “Sugar Ray” Norcia & Band
Two blues legends, one unforgettable night. Expect guitar, harmonica, and soulful sounds that hit deep. This one’s for the blues lovers.

July 29th – Ben Knight & His Band
A fiery finale! With vocals, keys, and a band that blends gospel, rock, and New Orleans soul, Ben Knight will close out the season with a big band bang.

TBD – Catnip Junkies
Kicking off the series with high energy and New Orleans flair, this Bourbon Street-inspired brass band promises “contagious fun” and serious toe-tapping vibes.Originally scheduled for July 8th,Will now take the stage later this summer. Stay tuned for the new date.

All concerts run from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at Saint John’s Church. Bring your picnic blankets, lawn chairs, and your favorite people.
